Davide Ghelli Santuliana is an artist and researcher who uses media as diverse as film, photography, performance, writing, and sound design. Despite the use of diverse media, in his projects he always walks along the border between fictional and real, original and fake, self-crafted and appropriated, ironic and candid.

He is interested in the cultural landscape created by neoliberalism, a place where he also finds himself living and struggling to stay afloat. He asks himself what it means to live in such a socio-economic environment, especially from his perspective as an artist - or maybe better, a creative entrepreneur. Also, he is interested in all the ways new media manifest themselves in such a cultural landscape - for instance through photographs, social media images, stock footage, audio pieces from mass media, or ready-made, standardized 3D assets.
